What qualifications do I need?

We require our Paraplanners to have the same qualifications as required by RG146.  You need to have had a minimum of 5 years experience in paraplanning and or advice roles.  You will be required to work autonomously across a broad spectrum of advice strategies so a high exposure to different strategies is highly preferred.

Maintaining data security?

You are required to have a secure workstations with up-to-date virus protection and firewall security. You will be legally bound by privacy agreements and responsible for the safe and secure handling of client information.

SoA Delivery time frames

Depending on the advisers/licensee requirements you will be required to deliver an assigned statement of advice within 3 - 5 business days, you will be highly accountable for this time line.

How do I receive a SoA request?

You will be invited to join our highly customised and secure online workflow management tool.  Here you will receive SoA requests and can communicate directly with your Paraplanning Manager and Adviser in obtaining the information you require to complete the Statements of Advice.

What SoA templates will I use?

You will be required to work with Licensee provided Statement of Advice templates.  Our preference will be for you to work with templates and licensee standards that you are experienced in and are familiar with.

How to I gain access to Software?

You will be given login details to the software that you will use to generate the statement of advice, whether that be Xplan, COIN, Midwinter etc...  If you are already aligned with a Licensee and have your own login this will be beneficial and could provide immediate access to work.

How much will I be paid?

Once you come on board with Paraplanner, we will discuss an hourly rate that is appropriate to your skills and experience.
